There are times when we search for strength in the sky, when all along it has been beneath our feet. This painting feels like the earth breathing.

Deep greens move through it like ancient roots. Gold rises through the darkness like sunlight finding its way into hidden places, while the soft whites create spaces of silence and rest.

Nothing here is perfectly defined. The forms appear, disappear and become something else — a hillside, a forest, a distant animal, perhaps simply a memory. And that is its soul.

It is about belonging to something greater than ourselves. The earth does not ask us to explain who we are. It does not ask us to be strong every day. Sometimes it simply holds us. Through change. Through uncertainty. Through the seasons when we cannot yet see what lies ahead.

And somewhere beneath all that movement is a quiet promise: You do not always have to find your way. Sometimes you only have to trust the ground beneath you.
